Jaylin Littleton’s first trip to the Kentucky High School Athletic Association State Wrestling Championship was a memorable one after the Hopkinsville High junior reached the medal podium on Friday.
After an opening-round loss, Littleton rebounded to win four straight matches to move through the consolation bracket. Littleton lost in the seventh-place match to North Oldham’s Creed Williams.
In racking up an eighth-place finish, Littleton wrestled the number one, three, and seventh-place wrestlers in posting a 4-3 record.
