The Salvation Army of Hopkinsville recently announced the closure of its thrift store at 701 South Clay Street.
Lieutenant Lindsey Galabeas tells Your News Edge the closure will come Friday, March 8th.
Galabeas adds she hopes the store will not remain closed for long.
Even though the thrift store will be closed to the public, Galabeas says they will still accept donations to help those in need.
Until its closure, the thrift store will be open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The next two-and-a-half weeks will feature a “going out of business” sale.
