Gracey Wilson from Farm Credit Mid-America said the children were receptive and had great questions.
Mari-Alice Jasper from the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library added her most asked question – do you have to be quiet in the library?
A’Khyla Dixon, a fifth-grader at Pembroke Elementary, shared what she learned during the event and what she is looking into as a career option.
Tierra Leavell, the coordinator for the school’s Dorothy Kingston Family Resource Center, said this was the first event since the COVID-19 outbreak and there were around 20 businesses represented.
