According to district officials, Trigg County Public Schools were placed on lockdown Wednesday — for a threat of a weapon on campus.
An unnamed student was identified, isolated and a BB gun was confiscated.
The student has been taken into custody. And as of 1:30 PM, all schools were out of lockdown.
Administration would like to thank students and staff for their cooperation in keeping students, staff and the community safe.
