A Hopkinsville woman was charged with theft of identity on South Main Street in Hopkinsville Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped to talk with 30-year-old Carlita Byrd who had an active warrant for probation violation and she gave them her mother’s name and date of birth instead of her own.
She was arrested and charged with theft of identity.
