Norma Martin, 75, of Cadiz

There will be no services at this time for 75-year-old Norma Martin of Cadiz

Norma Martin passed away Monday, April 1, 2024, at Shady Lawn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cadiz.

Born April 19, 1948, in Bradford, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth C. and Katherine (Brunner) Baldwin.

Norma earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and her master’s degree in ag finance from West Texas A&M University.

She was employed in the clinical pathology lab of Texas A&M for several years but spent most of her career as an accountant with SunRay Farms in Texas.

A 25-year certified breeder of the American Quarter Horse Association, Norma had an enduring love for horses and pursued her passion for many years riding and showing in a wide range of events. She was also an active member of the Trigg County Homemakers Club.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Conrad Martin of Cadiz; her sister, Karen Evans of Princeton, KY; her mother-in-law, Billie Martin of Cadiz; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Lora Martin of Cadiz; nephews, Michael Evans and Josh Martin (Stacy); and niece, Lorri Eatty (Mike).

There will be no services at this time.
