Pennyrile Electric Restores Power After Sunday Night Outage

Over 14,000 customers with Pennyrile Electric were without power Sunday night after a transmission line from the Tennessee Valley Authority reportedly failed.

Brent Gilkey with Pennyrile Electric said the transmission line is linked to six substations in Trigg, Caldwell, and Christian counties.
