Deputies have released more information about a wreck on Interstate 24 in Christian County that sent three people to the hospital Thursday morning.

Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Danny Collings says a car driven by Jennifer Wolfe of Missouri was eastbound three miles from the Pennyrile Parkway exit when it hydroplaned and hit a bridge coming to a stop sideways in the road.

An eastbound tractor-trailer then reportedly collided with Wolfe’s car.

Wolfe and her passengers 5-year-old and a 3-year-old were treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS and Fort Campbell EMS to Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville for injuries.

Collings says the 3-year-old was trapped in the car and had to be extricated.
