Trigg County Schools and its Board of Education have called a special session for 6 PM Thursday in Cadiz.
It’s a joint meeting with the Trigg County Superintendent Search Screening Committee, and will involve general discussions regarding the search and expectations for the position — soon to be vacated as Bill Thorpe shifts to his new position at Marshall County.
Executive session that might lead to the appointment of an employee is possible.
This meeting comes as more than 30 positions are posted as available across the district, including assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction — with Matt Boehman reportedly returning to Hopkinsville — and the Trigg County High School principal position, which was originally to be announced by the end of May, but now doesn’t close applications until June 1.
