While over 400 people are working on behalf of Pennyrile Electric to restore electricity to southwestern Kentucky, some could be without until early next week.
Vice-President of Member Services Brent Gilkey tells Your News Edge they are working as quickly as possible to restore services.
Gilkey says a majority of members should have service by the end of the week, but areas with the heaviest damage could go beyond that.
The weather forecast calls for sunshine through Friday with non-severe storms and showers expected throughout the weekend.
Gilkey asks those without power to remain patient.
