A woman was charged with attempted burglary on Lincoln Avenue in Cadiz Wednesday afternoon.
Cadiz Police say they were called to the area for a woman trying to break into an apartment and made a traffic stop on a vehicle with 62-year-old Catherine Harris being a passenger in the vehicle.
She reportedly admitted to borrowing a knife from someone and using it to try to cut a hole in the door to get inside but claimed she had permission.
She was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal mischief and attempted second-degree burglary.
