Police have released the names of two people injured in a wreck on South Virginia Street at the intersection of East 9th Street Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say an eastbound car driven by 56-year-old Michael Beouy of Hopkinsville collided with a northbound truck driven by 58-year-old Tracy Deason of Hopkinsville at the intersection.
Both drivers were treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries. Police say after reviewing city cameras Beouy was found to have failed to stop at the red light.
