Officials with Trigg County Public Schools announced the arrival of Lacey Schrock Tuesday morning — as she has been selected as the district’s new Director of Curriculum and Instruction.

A dedicated educator with a deep background in curriculum, instruction and assessment, she was born and raised in Hopkinsville and is a graduate of Christian County High School and Murray State University — where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and secondary education, as well as a master’s in wildlife biology and administration and supervisor of instruction.

Schrock then turned to teaching and had stops in Christian, Trigg and Lyon counties, before administration passions led her to Crittenden County — where she served as supervisor of instruction, district assessment coordinator and Title 1 director.

At Warren County, she served as assistant director of secondary instruction, where she was responsible of four middle schools and four high schools.

Schrock’s husband, Scott, is a Trigg County High School math teacher, and together, they reside in the community with two sons — 11-year-old Gavin and 8-year-old Caden.

She follows in the footsteps Karen Solise and Matt Boehman.
