
A traffic stop on East 21st Street in Hopkinsville led to three men being charged Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Nicholes Cruite for not wearing a seatbelt and during the stop, he was found to have a suspended driver’s license.
After a search of the vehicle, a handgun that had been reported stolen was located and marijuana.
Cruite was arrested and charged with failure to wear a seat belt, operating on a suspended or revoked license, and possession of marijuana.
His passengers, 20-year-old Jabahri Williams and 20-year-old Olajuwon White were both arrested and charged with receiving stolen property. White was also charged with carrying a concealed weapon.
