The Hopkinsville Fire Department will be hosting an open house for firefighter prospectors in July.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says it is a great opportunity to talk with HFD firefighters and see their facilities and apparatuses.
Rogers added working for HFD has been extremely rewarding. Having the opportunity to serve the community he lives in is the most fulfilling part. It’s unlike any job out there, and no two days are the same.
The open house will be on July 20th from 9 am to 11 am at the main fire station located on Philip Meacham Way.
