Set for 7-8:30 PM Thursday, the Fourth of July “Patriotic In The Pennyrile” featuring the Pennyrile Area Community Band is still on tap at the Casey Jones Distillery.

Located at 2815 Witty Lane in Hopkinsville, concert goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and other seating arrangements. And while personal coolers aren’t permitted on the premises, food trucks will be on site for festivities.

Admission is free, but donations to the non-profit organization are encouraged.

This ensemble most recently performed at the Hopkinsville Juneteenth Celebration, and in a visit with the Hopkinsville Rotary Club last month, Band Director Lori Boehman noted proprietor Peg Hays and the brew crew were nothing but supportive of these arts endeavors.

Boehman also noted several teachers from the Christian County Public Schools district, as well as visitors from Clarksville, Madisonville and elsewhere, make up the ranks — as do students and mentors of the adult musicians.

Casey Jones Distillery will be open from 9 AM until 9 PM July 4-6 with its “Red, White, And Booze” — a three-day celebration of all things bourbon.

This party aligns with the official release of exclusive “Red, White and Blue” label bottles, of which only 50 were available for preorder.

The “Red” is CJD’s first 5-year-old Small Batch Wheat Bourbon. The “White” is their first 5-year-old Small Batch High Corn Bourbon. And the “Blue” is their second Single Barrel Eclipse Cask No. 2, which was made during the 2017 Total Eclipse, and consists of a 50% corn, 50% cane blend.

Also available from 10 AM until 6 PM July 4-6, visitors can fill, cork, label and seal their own Single Barrel Eclipse Cask No. 2 bottle — a free experience with purchase. No reservations are required.
