A routine stop from the Hopkinsville Police Department led to an important discovery Wednesday night.
A vehicle was pulled over for disregarding a stop sign, and after an investigation, officers ended up seizing 93 pounds of drugs.
Vontrae Lewis, of Hopkinsville, was identified as the driver, and he was charged with disregarding a stop sign, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, first offense trafficking in marijuana greater than five pounds, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
