Graveside memorial services for 81-year-old Lu Thomas, of Cadiz, will be 2 PM Thursday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until 1 PM Thursday at Goodwin Funeral Home.
Survivors include:
Husband, Carroll Thomas, of Cadiz;
Brother, Charles Clark, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania;
And brother-in-law, Steve Thomas (Diane), of Hopkinsville.

She died at 9:45 AM Monday, 9:45 AM, Monday, August 5, 2024, at Bradford Heights Nursing & Rehab Center in Hopkinsville.
She was born August 9, 1942, in Cadiz to the late Leon and Avis (Morgan) Clark.
She graduated from Trigg County High School in 1960 and went on to earn her nursing degree from the Nightingale School of Nursing at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
She dedicated more than 29 years of her life to caring for others as a registered nurse, working alongside Drs. Goode and Daugherty at Pennyrile Urology in Hopkinsville.
She shared a fulfilling life with her beloved husband, Carroll. Together, they explored the country in their fifth wheel camper and traversed continents, making memories that would last a lifetime. Their shared love for ballroom dancing saw them glide across dance floors for many years.
She was a longtime member of Donaldson Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed living her life with purpose and joy and had a wonderful sense of humor. She spoiled her dogs, liked to sew, and loved spending time with her bridge club, where she was both a friendly and spirited competitor and a cherished friend.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, William Morgan Clark, Wayne Clark, and Ray Clark; and two sisters, Sarah Stubblefield and Martha Jean Manoso.
