Downtown Hopkinsville has been transformed into festival central for the 8th Annual Hopkinsville Summer Salute which begins Friday and wraps up Saturday night.
Rachel Sanders, marketing coordinator for Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation, said the Justice Center parking lot will host free concerts both Friday night and Saturday night.

click to download audioWhile the area near the justice center and the library will be unavailable for parking, Sanders said there will be plenty of spots in downtown Hopkinsville.
