Harvest season is upon us in western Kentucky and that means an increase in agriculture vehicles on the roadway.
Christian County resident David Fourqurean, who also serves as an extension agent in McLean County, said the corn season is beginning to wrap up. He said the lack of rainfall is a big concern among agriculture workers.
He added you should always remain vigilant while driving.
Other tips when encountering farm equipment on the roadway; don’t assume the farmer knows you’re there, keep your distance to ensure farmers can see your vehicle in their mirrors, and use extreme caution when passing.
