Jannie Louise Wynn White, 83, Hopkinsville, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024, in Nashville.
Jannie, the daughter of the late Walter and Earline Wynn, was born on June 7, 1941, in Christian County.
Jannie was a member of First Street Baptist Church and was a private sitter for the elderly. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and fishing.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Matthew Allen, Douglas Allen, and Robert Allen.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, James White; son, James White, Jr.; sister, Priscilla General; devoted niece, Yolanda Foy; devoted nephew, Mike Allen; devoted friend, Joyce “Tot” (Willie) Ray; a host of nieces and nephews.
Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Services will be on Tuesday, August 27 at noon at the First Street Baptist Church.
Visitation will begin Tuesday morning at 11:00.
Burial will follow in the Cave Springs Cemetery.
