Fort Campbell to Conduct Full-Scale Exercise on Wednesday

Fort Campbell officials will conduct a post-wide full-scale exercise on Wednesday, Aug. 28 designed to test the installation’s emergency preparedness in response to realistic scenarios.

Brian Sipp, a spokesman for Fort Campbell, said the exercise is essential in identifying strengths and areas for improvement.

He said people will likely see an increase in civilian and military first responders and that digital signs will be in place that will detour people from specific areas during the exercise.

Sipp said the exercise will also include law enforcement, medical treatment, damage assessment, and other units from across the installation.

Emergency services will continue to be available during the exercise to respond to any real-world emergencies.
