Traffic And Safety Concerns Among Issues Being Fixed At CCPS

As students are back into the rhythm of attending classes across the Christian County school district, Superintendent Chris Bentzel said some issues need to be ironed out.

Monday marked the return to the classroom and with it some traffic concerns at properties that saw transitions over the summer.

According to Bentzel, other things that need to improve this school year, are enrollment numbers and school safety.

Bentzel said with the school shuffles and extended summer break calendar, the district received many positive comments.

The Christian County Public School District returned to the classroom nearly three weeks later than normal. The feedback provided by families, staff members, and community partners could mean a later start date becomes permanent for the district.
