Located at 901A South Main Street, Frankfort officials announced Friday the re-opening of the Hopkinsville Driver Licensing Regional Office — following extensive storm damage repairs from an early June severe weather event.

Services were offered at a temporary alternate location while repairs were underway.

Operations returned at 8 AM Saturday morning, and the office is open from 8 AM until 4 PM weekdays, and from 8-11:30 AM on Saturdays for walk-in customers only, as part of a monthly service offered at all regional offices to better serve Kentuckians.

Customers are encouraged to park in the lot at the corner of Ninth and Main streets.

On June 3, 2024, a severe thunderstorm passed through western Kentucky, spilling nearly 11 inches of rain at the Main Street location, which caused the damage.

The temporary closing was necessary for cleaning and rebuilding.

Kentuckians can visit any Driver Licensing Regional Office and are encouraged to make appointments online at https://bit.ly/KYTCRegionalOffices.

Walk-in customers will be served on a first come, first served basis.
