Dwight Edwin Stallons, age 69, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mr. Stallons was born in Hopkinsville, on July 26, 1955, the son of the late Elmer Austin Stallons and Eva Christine White Stallons. Dwight was loved by so many. He was a man of his word. Dwight loved the outdoors and being in nature which is where he saw God the most. He attended West Mt Zoar Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Clyde Randall Stallons.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Sharon Jean Maxey Stallons of Hopkinsville; his son, Patrick Stallons and his wife Melinda of Hopkinsville; his daughter, Stephanie Kellett and her husband Bryan of Hopkinsville; his brothers, Ellis Stallons and his wife Donna of Cadiz, David Stallons and his wife Dale of Crofton; his sisters, Lisa Higgins and her husband Gerald of Hopkinsville, Gail Stokes of Hopkinsville; his seven grandchildren, Madisyn Edwards and her husband Dustin, Tucker Gallagher, Mason Kellett, Maddox Kellett, Sawyer Stallons, Sydnee Kellett, Wyatt Stallons; and one great-granddaughter, Aria Edwards.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Christian County 4H Shooting Sports at 13418 Fruit Hill Red Bridge Rd. Crofton, KY 42217.
