Kentucky’s homeowners and renters still needing assistance with FEMA, and other resources, following the Memorial Day Weekend storms have yet four more opportunities to meet with officials in person — in order to ask questions and learn everything necessary about possible relief.

These chances are:

— From 10 AM until 7 PM Friday and from 9 AM until 6 PM Saturday at Hopkinsville’s Pennyrile Area Development Center on Hammond Drive;

— From 10 AM until 7 PM Eastern Time on September 27 and from 9 AM until 5 PM Eastern Time at the Flatwoods Senior Center in Flatwoods;

— From 10 AM until 7 PM October 4 and from 9 AM until 6 PM October 5 at Dunn Missionary Baptist Church on Charleston Road in Dawson Springs;

— And from 10 AM until 7 PM October 11 and from 9 AM until 6 PM October 12 at the Muhlenberg County Training Center on Career Way in Central City.

This is a strong opportunity for victims, especially those impaired, to understand their FEMA letter, to receive help with applications and potential appeals, and to learn about contract estimations, repairs and new builds.

In order to apply for FEMA assistance:

+ Survivors can go online to DisasterAssistance.gov, call 800-621-3362 or use the FEMA mobile app to apply.
