More information has been released about a wreck on South Road in Trigg County that sent four people to the hospital Monday morning.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say a car driven by Cagney Porter was northbound when he lost control, causing the car to run off the road, hitting a tree and a culvert.
During the crash, a child in the car was ejected out the back window.
A helicopter was called to take some of the people to the hospital, but due to the weather, they were not able to respond.
Deputies say Cagney Porter and his wife Leah Porter were taken by ambulance to Trigg County Hospital for injuries. The two children in the car were taken by ambulance to Tennova Healthcare and later sent to a Nashville hospital due to their injuries.
Deputies say the crash is still being investigated but added the children were wearing seat belts.
