A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has announced plans to begin installing signage Thursday, for what will be the first of a three-phase paving project that will take place in Trigg County starting next week.

This project represents an investment of more than $800,000 by Team Kentucky.

Crews will install signs on KY 128 (Wallonia Road) between Stewart Road (2.85 mm) and KY 1507 (4.5 mm), a distance of roughly 2.85 miles. Milling and paving is scheduled to begin next Monday and last about a week.

Drivers should expect lane restrictions with flaggers.

This project will also include the paving of KY 274 (Rockcastle Road) between U.S. 68X and Beach Bend Road (1.8 mm), and KY 1253 (Hardy Road) between H.C. Futrell Road and McAtee Road (3 mm).

Dates for those phases will be announced as work proceeds.
