A Clarksville man was charged after he fired a gun into the air on South Clay Street in Hopkinsville Wednesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 42-year-old Prentice Dukes fired a gun into the air after his girlfriend texted him claiming a male was in the backyard and had chased her and grabbed her.
He was cited to court for discharging a firearm within the city limits.
