Jeanette Ann Higgins, 92, of New Albany, Ind., passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024 at her home of natural causes.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, October 4, 2024, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements. A native of Butte, Montana, she was born January 10, 1932, the daughter of the late Erick Smith and the late Frances (Hrvatin) Smith.
Jeanette was an LPN for Columbia Health Care Center in Evansville, Indiana. She was a member of the Mt. Gilead General Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Higgins.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry (Jenna) Norris Higgins of Greenville, Indiana, Patrick (Dinah) Bailey of Homosassa, Florida, Michael (Maria) Bailey of Russellville, and Marty (Robin) Bailey of Louis Beach, California, and her brother, Frankie Smith of Idaho.
