Elkton Man Charged With Drug Possession

An Elkton man was charged with possession of drugs after he was found in a gas station bathroom on West 7th Street in Hopkinsville Monday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they found 22-year-old Francisco Flores in the bathroom with a syringe in his hand containing fentanyl along with other drug paraphernalia.

He also reportedly had items he had taken from the store with him. Police say he tossed some of the drug paraphernalia into the toilet.

He was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking, possession of fentanyl, tampering with physical evidence, and public intoxication.
