At the end of August, members of the Christian County Bar Association gathered at Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club — celebrating a major milestone for six local lawyers.
Mike Foster, Bill Deatherage, Dan Thomas, Dan Kemp, Steve Underwood and the late Carol Johnson all grasped and administered jurisprudence for 50 years, or more, and collectively they have served the community for more than 300 years.
In Johnson’s stead, his stepdaughter Kim Dean accepted the honor.
The ceremony included a private family dinner at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club, where nearly 100 guests attended.
