A man was charged after he led law enforcement on a high-speed pursuit on Pennyrile Parkway in Hopkinsville Sunday night.
Kentucky State Police say they attempted to stop a car on Interstate 24 at Pennyrile Parkway for speeding, and it fled, reaching speeds of over 130mph before exiting onto Pembroke Road.
The car reportedly collided with an SUV that was eastbound on Pembroke Road, causing it to overturn several times before coming to a stop.
The driver of the SUV was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries, and the driver of the car was taken by law enforcement to the hospital to be checked out.
The driver of the car’s name along with a list of his charges has not been released.
