A Hopkinsville woman was charged with possession of drugs after a traffic stop on Old Concord Lane in Christian County Thursday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a car for the license plate not being properly displayed and could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

The passenger, 25-year-old Leanndra Reed, reportedly claimed the marijuana was hers along with a bag containing a glass pipe with meth residue in it.

She was arrested and charged with possession of meth second offense and possession of marijuana.
