Funeral services for 80-year-old Harold A. “Buddy” Scruggs, of Hopkinsville, is at 10 AM Wednesday at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include:
His wife, Ruth Ann Cathcart Scruggs, of Hopkinsville;
His daughters, Cathy (Terry) Harper, of Trigg County, and Connie (Mike) Workman, of Hopkinsville;
His grandchildren, Audrey (Justin) Crick, Shawn (Lauren) Roberts, Arron (Logan) Workman, Nathan (Tori) Workman and Jacob (Aerin) Workman;
And five great grandchildren.
He died at 12:14 AM Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville.
Rev. Jacob Workman and Rev. Nathan Workman are officiating.
He was born November 18, 1943, the son of late Allen King Scruggs and Katherine Florene Arms Scruggs.
He was a long-term employee of South Central Bell and was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church.
