Two men were charged in connection to two separate burglaries in Hopkinsville on Wednesday.
Hopkinsville Police say they arrested 37-year-old Parker Smith after he was found in a home on East 9th Street that had been broken into and damaged.
Smith claimed he had permission to sleep in the home but he did not, He is charged with third-degree burglary.
In a separate burglary, Police say 28-year-old Ernest Liberty’s vehicle was seen by city cameras at a home on McKee Street that was broken into and wire was stolen.
Liberty was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary.
