The Todd County Public School District is mourning the loss of the librarian at North Todd Elementary School.
Superintendent Mark Thomas told Your WEKT News Edge that Karen Hargrove, who was killed in a wreck Wednesday afternoon near Fairview, was a beloved staff member.
Thomas said, “We are heartbroken for the loss of one of our own,” adding that she “was a wonderful human being and a fabulous educator.”
Thomas also shared how much she loved everyone at North Todd Elementary.
The district’s Crisis Team will be at the school beginning Thursday morning to help students and staff cope with the loss.
