Saturday Christmas Parade To Light Up Downtown Hopkinsville

The annual Hopkinsville Christmas Parade will light up the downtown area to officially kick off the holiday season, followed by the city Christmas Tree lighting ceremony.

Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Marketing Director Rachel Sanders says the parade will follow the traditional route from Glass Avenue through downtown Hopkinsville and wind up at 14th Street.

click to download audioThe parade will be broadcast on 96.5 and 100.9 WHVO by Kimberly Allen and Bill Booth. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite float by texting the float number to the F & M Bank text line at 270-522-1212 after the parade.

She says the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony will follow the parade around 7:30 Saturday night.
