Candice Cline, 66, of Crofton

Candice Elizabeth Jones Cline, 66, of Crofton, Kentucky died at 4:37 p.m., Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 17, 202,4 at Crofton Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Lee and Rev. Jim Gifford officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgetop Cemetery in Crofton. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at New Work Fellowship Church in Hopkinsville and from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Tuesday at Crofton Baptist Church in Crofton. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Columbia, Tennessee she was born on May 19, 1958, the daughter of the late Norman Gene Jones, Sr. and Nelda Bailey Jones. She was on the golf team and a mat maid at Christian County High School where she graduated and went on to Murray State University and earned her bachelor’s degree. She and Bruce were married on December 12, 1986, and together they built Consolation Farms and had two beautiful girls and seven beautiful grand babies that she loved with all of her heart. The greatest joy in her life was being their Nana. She was a Sunday school teacher, choir member, and pianist at New Palestine Baptist Church for over 20 years. She has been attending New Work Fellowship for 10 years. She retired from Higgins Insurance to help take care of her aging parents and later became the bookkeeper for Consolation Farms. She never met a stranger and always would lend a hand, would give more than she took, and wanted everyone to know of God’s love

Survivors include her husband: Bruce Wayne Cline of Crofton, KY: her daughters, Taylor (Joshua) Allen and Mary Caitlin (Landon) Hopper both of Crofton, KY; her brother, Norman Gene (Donna) Jones, Jr. of Hendersonville, TN; her sister, Kelly (Troy) Turner of Hopkinsville, KY. Seven grandchildren, Amelia Allen, Macon Hopper, Kilian Allen, Callyn Hopper, Lilly Allen, Lylacait Hopper and Sylvia Allen.
