A man was flown to a hospital after a shooting on McRidley Street in Cadiz Sunday afternoon.
Cadiz Police Chief Tyler Thomas says a Caldwell County man who is in his 40’s suffered at least four gunshot wounds to several places on his body and was rushed to Trigg County Hospital to meet with a helicopter to take him to another hospital.
The suspect who is from Trigg County is talking with law enforcement but has not been charged at this time.
A Cadiz Police Officer who first arrived at the home was reportedly able to apply a tourniquet to the man’s arm to control his bleeding while waiting for an ambulance.
The shooting was reported to authorities just before 2 pm.
