A traffic stop on East 1st Street for a problem with the vehicle’s registration led to a drug arrest Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Rachael Phillips for not having a visible registration and reckless driving and found she had no registration and no insurance.
During the stop, police say they could smell the odor of marijuana and asked for consent to search the vehicle. After a search, meth and a glass pipe were reportedly found.
She was arrested and charged with no operator’s license, reckless driving, no registration plates, no insurance, and possession of meth.
