A traffic stop for speeding led to a stolen vehicle being recovered on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Makeaba Nhaway for going 18 mph over the speed limit and found the car had been reported stolen in Nashville.
During the stop, Police say they could smell marijuana, and after a search marijuana was located in the vehicle.
She was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, no operator’s license, possession of marijuana, speeding, and failure to produce an insurance card.
