Sandra “Sandy” Joe Brown Meredith, age 70, of Hopkinsville, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024, at her home of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Sandra was born in Evansville, on June 8, 1954, the daughter of the late McKinley Wilson Brown and Ethelene Bryant Brown. She worked in retail and was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Meredith in 2002; and her two brothers, John Wilson Brown and McKinley Richard Brown.
Survivors include her son, Danny Brown of Christian County; her daughters, Elizabeth Wilson of Hopkinsville, Jennifer Wilson and her husband Brian of Crofton, KY, Joann Everett-Lewis and her husband Matt of Princeton, KY; her sister, Kathy Taylor of Hopkinsville; her seven grandchildren, Anthony Rogers of Georgia, Lyndsey Brown of Hopkinsville, Brianna Austin of Hopkinsville, Karley Hale of Hanson, KY, Savannah Hubbard of Springfield, TN, Landon Everett of Princeton, KY, Leighton Wilson of Crofton, KY; and her eleven great-grandchildren.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Christian County Humane Society at P.O. Box 1233 Hopkinsville, KY 42241.
