Wes Ricks, 43, of Hopkinsville, died at 1:43 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2024, at his residence.
Wes will be cremated with no services. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Caldwell County, KY he was born July 28, 1981, the son of Constance Ricks of Hopkinsville and the late Russell Anthony “Tony” Ricks. Wes had a zeal for life. He loved sports, concerts, and being around people. Wes loved UK Sports, Pittsburgh Steelers Football, and Hoptown Hoppers Baseball. You were apt to see him at Rupp Arena for any sporting event or concert.
In addition to his mother, Wes is survived by his half-brothers: Jason Ricks of John’s Creek, GA, and Bryan (Nichole) Ricks of Canton, GA.
In memory of Wes, the family asks that you honor him by going to a sporting event or concert with the ones you love.
