A woman was hit by a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot on Canton Street Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say the woman was walking out of the store when an SUV hit her.
The driver of the SUV reportedly told police the sun was in her eyes and she could not see the woman walking.
The woman was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries.
