J. Todd Darnell, age 54 of Pembroke, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at St. Thomas-West in Nashville of natural causes. Joint funeral services J. Todd Darnell and his father John Franklin Darnell will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home that morning from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mr. Darnell was born on September 26, 1970, in Hopkinsville, KY, the son of Anita Litchfield and the late John Darnell. Todd worked as a City Clerk for Pembroke for over 8 years. He was a member of Pembroke Baptist Church. Todd loved antique cars and was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America.
In addition to his mother, Anita, survivors include his wife of 25 years, Trina Arvin Darnell of Pembroke; and his companion, BellaMae Darnell.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the American Heart Association at 1818 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
