Funeral services for 82-year-old George Colley, of Cadiz, will be 1 PM Monday at Goodwin Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the William “Buck” Cunningham Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until the funeral hour.
Survivors include:
One brother , Bill Colley (Carol) of Cadiz;
Nephews and nieces, Steven Turner (Kim Haydon), of Cadiz, Lee Gibbs (Keith), of Cadiz, Stacy Johnson (Micah), of Olmstead, Cynthia Denise Costello (John), of Cadiz, Nadine Long (Ray), of Hopkinsville, Ronnie Wallace, of Princeton, Wesley Wallace (Tammy), of Princeton, Donna Jagoe (Stefan), of Hendersonville, North Carolina, and Billy Colley (Christy) of Mayfield.
He died Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Barkley Plantation Assisted Living Community in Cadiz.
He was born April 22, 1942, in Trigg County, to the late Lewis Carr Colley and Virginia Lee Malone Colley.
A lifelong hard-working farmer, George took joy in breaking ground for a new crop and tending special care to his herd of cattle. He was a charter member of Ponderosa Baptist Church in Cadiz.
