A wreck on South Road near the intersection of Pugh Flat Church Road sent a Tennessee woman to the hospital Sunday night.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say an SUV was southbound when the driver Amanda Zimmerman swerve to miss a deer causing the vehicle to run off the road down an embankment hitting a tree.
Zimmerman was taken by ambulance to a waiting helicopter that flew her to a Nashville hospital for her injuries.
Deputies say Zimmerman was involved in some kind of disturbance in Stewart County, Tennessee just before the crash.
