Garlon W. Henson, 81, of Hopkinsville, died at 5:58 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2025 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Flat Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Claxton, KY he was born June 22, 1943 the son of the late Rual and Bessie Henson. He was a retired electrician from Phelps Dodge.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Eva Dean Joiner Henson; and his brother: William Henson.
Survivors include his son: Tim (Tera) Henson of Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren: Dalton Cline, Zachary Henson, and Tatianna (David Putney) Robbins-Putney; and his great grandson: Elijah Keene.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Max’s Hope Pet Rescue.
