A request to check on a man passed out in a vehicle led to several drug charges and a stolen gun being recovered in Oak Grove Tuesday afternoon.

Oak Grove Police say they were called for 56-year-old Bernard Carver Jr. who was passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle at the Circle K.

Officers could reportedly see drugs in the vehicle during the stop and located crack cocaine, marijuana, around $3,000 in cash, a stolen gun, and drug paraphernalia.

Carver was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana, trafficking meth, trafficking cocaine, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and public intoxication.
